    JE zx12r 9.8 to 1 turbo pistons 222108

they look really similar to the stock ones as far as the top goes but they have higher centers and valve reliefs instead of flat centers.

This is the cooling "log" or manifold as its officially known. The early model STX-12f/15f had different part that was prone to clogs or disentigration due to corrosion that needed to be replaced. This post shows what happens when the original part is removed. The section that is recessed in the existing part for the o-rings is the weakes spot in the part which then breaks when it is removed. This does not allow the new part to seat fully into the head.

Jet pump is fitted, pistons installed, cylinders installed (pain in the ass, I did it all by hand by myself) new bearing installed in the stator housing, and the coupler installed

head is going on tomorrow as are the cams and then it will all be checked for valve interference, squish came out with .23 mm of clearance and everything else looks good so far

As mentioned up above, the broken pieces must be removed to allow the new part to seat on the head. The way to remove the broken pieces is to carefully drill one hole on either side of the broken part and tap the remnants with a pick to remove them. Then you need to clean the debris out with a vacuum and remove any corrosion with an abrasive.
