Yes; you can run the old head on your 2007 block, but you must use the rocker shaft from the 2007 head.

Good day! I have a 2004 ski, I need a perfect head, buy a 04.05 per year, it is not possible.
I need to buy a head of 06 + and just remove the drips from the block?
Shaft Rockers, too, must be 06 +?
    That's it?

    Yours.

To use a 06+ head on your 2004 ski, you must:

    1. Remove the restrictor from the block
    2. Use a 2006+ rocker shaft

You can use your 2004 rockers, they are the same, new and old.

    You're talking about the valve?

    No, the rocker arms.

Yes. The oil pressure jet in the block.

Sorry, I have been slow at getting this information posted. There is no mention of an additional block modification that needs to take place if you use a 2005 or older block in a 2006 or newer 4-TEC ski.

With the 2006 or newer TOPS that is now placed on the front of the engine(PTO side) you must make this block modification. The 2006 and newer blocks have a hole above the the balance shaft. This hole is slightly less than a 1/2" (12mm most likely) I think I drilled mine 29/64" But 1/2" would probably work fine.

See the attached image from a 2006 block. I marked with red arrows where you would need to drill your 2005 or older block if using in a 2006 or newer ski. I drilled a hole in a 2005 block and it worked just fine in my 2006 GTX. This hole keeps your engine from developing too much crankcase pressure since Sea-Doo moved the TOPS location starting in 2006.
