Can someone confirm the drive shaft setup on this please , does the fx midshaft, coupler and drive shaft setup fit with the fx pump and the 50mm spacer or does the gpsho conversion use something else.

    Steve,

I used a FX SHO coupler and mid shaft (6S5), FX SHO pump, wear ring and drive shaft, 2" Extension (GPR). It all bolted up. I am pretty sure the FZ drive shaft is a different length. I can measure the length of the drive shaft this weekend if you need me to.

BTW I might have some of these parts if you need them.

Can it be done using the SHO fuel tank? I'm starting with a 2000 model and don't happen to have a 1300 tank. Is the 1300 tank used for extra clearance with the intake routing, or will the SHO just simply not fit? The donor is going to be a 2009 FX SHO if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Kenlepack. Did you run a intake tube? If so, was there plenty of room?

I run a custom intake so I can't answer that. But the fzr tank is bigger than the 1300. And fits great. The extra mileage is awesome

I plan on a custom intake, so maybe the SHO will work.

Here is a GPRSHO that I am pretty sure used a FXSHO Fuel Tank. I did not like the extra weight in front so changed it out for a GP1300R tank.
