    Check the voltage while cranking on the Red purple circuit in the electrical box with a DC volt meter.
    Has to be a min of 10.5 VDC.
    A weak battery is probably the number one cause of no spark on these engines.

    A good battery will deliver well over 10.5 volts while cranking the engine. Without that voltage during cranking, the CDI will not deliver a good spark.

    Thanks for the tip about the coil.

    After trying to not overlook anything I ordered a coil assembly, The meter also indicates the coil pack. How could all three coils in the coil pack go bad at the same time? It should be here any day now.
