Sounds about right. I reported the following in 06.
-2002 GPRXP 800lbs.
-6 gallons gas
-closed loop cooling with very large heat exchanger.
-SST mounts
-Jpipe and rotax waterbox
-06 pump with 2" extention.
-Hull was completely dry, and had not been in water for 2 years.
-Battery was mounted across from waterbox in rear.
-Internal IC.
-Balance point was within an inch of the stock point.
...and just like EVERY conversion on the water, they will all be a little different for balance point/weight, since everyone has their own way to build a mousetrap.

Not the best comparison, but it's the best I can do right now.
'00 hull
Dry
fresh paint
tabs
small hull cut
gpr tank and sender
complete 05 pump
shoe
1200 grate
tunnel reinforcement
front and side rub rails
some misc plumbing
gauge
and whatever else is in the pics
377 lbs
'07 hull
large area cut out see pics
no pump
no shoe
no tank
small hull cut
oil pan bumpers
236Lbs
my Karavan galvanized single trailer is 205lbs. . .

weighed my GPR-1 yesterday. full tank, fire ext, battery, tow ropes, dry box, ect. ready to run. did not have a chance to figure out the balance point.
830 lbs.
i thought it was going to be very close to a stock '00 gpr, but within 2 lbs!!!! Dam. why doesn't yamaha offer a 2010 gpr with this motor? it is sooo fun and user friendly.

the vigilante, with closed loop cooling, and 5 gallons of fuel was 805lbs.
Why would You think this is not real world?
