    +1 but thats not my point. It's way easier on an aftermarket ecu to be able to over rev while on the stock ecu it's almost impossible.

    Well with the stock ECU I had an aftermarket tach and it never showed mire than 7800 RPM's and that was once. But with the aftermarket ECU you see alot of spikes way over the limiter very commonly when you come unhooked.

    I finally got my turbo FZR to the water this weekend. I kept boost down to 10 psi for the break in of the new engine. Even at 10 psi the ski ran 83+ mph consistently and got there quick.
    I can't wait to see what 22 psi boost feels like

    Jerry--did you install the R&D second thermostat? I ask because I've heard forged pistons warm-up differently and the second thermostat seems like it would help in this regard.

    Can't wait to see how that thing does with 22 psi.

    I haven't installed one yet. So far my skis temp is perfect at 175 degrees with the turbo setup.

    On another note, the water jacketed turbo housing and plumbing is amazing. I can actually put my hand on the piping it stays so cool.

    I hope to be turning up the boost to 20 psi tomorrow if I can make it to the water. Stay tuned
