If you are going to fill in the holes, blue is good enough...no where for the bolts to back out too !

Ok... dumb question. Got the grate on, now I am trying to fill the holes. I'm using 3M 5200 sealant. How the hell do you spread the stuff into the holes and keep it from just falling out (gravity)?

I'm not sure how "Liquid" the 3M stuff is, but you could take a piece of wax paper (probably find some in a kitchen drawer) and put it up against the filled hole, held in place with duct tape. Wax paper will not let the filler stick to it and peels off easily after filler hardens.
