Anyone ever heard anything ???
Hope they dont do like yamaha did on the PV issue, they addressed the PV issue after 5 years by removing it

Nodoby knows the answer to this question.
As far as Seadoo is concerned it's not an issue. There are thousands upon thousands of supercharged units out there running without issue. You only hear about the few failures. Nobody bothers to post, "hey my supercharger held up great today!"

I know it's depressing. Its a rare case where one will fail that quickly and it sucks that it happened to you.
There are lots of people running 100+ hours on their first clutch. Hopefully once you get yours rebuilt you will fall into that 100+ category.

hulk is right, as far as seadoo is concerned we (people with blown up sc's) are a extremely small percentage of seadoo sc'd watercraft. they dont care, and we are stuck with broken seadoos, dealers who cant fix them, and possibly backordered parts...what a situation..and to think we actually piad for this.

Yea, I was all freaked out about it, but have since decided
not to worry about it. Crap I have 30 hours on my ski and
it runs strong as heck.
If it happens it happens and I have the extended warranty
to fix it. I just hope it doesn't happen during the main rideing
season.
We hear so much of it, because we are not the average ordinary
riders. I think we ride harder and use are ski 5 times more than the actual Seadoo base buyers.
So I feel we are just going to here more about the bad issue's.
Just my .02

we do ride harder than the average person but in any case its a reliablity issue. what good is $10,000 watercraft if its in the shop for 3 weeks each summer? i know its a wear item but i hope it doesnt go again anytime soon (assuming i get it back sometime in the near future).

Infact that is what worries cause here I here alot of failure, my 04 has 34 hours and no signs till now (knock on wood)
I am afraid cause if it just slips u change but I am afriad of loosing the ceramic washers and go into the engine, that is something which i worry to much about
