BTW, reversing those hoses, you will bring about 7 gallons of water in pretty quickly.
I bet. Don't feel bad, I had a big SNAFU myself last weekend while removing the glue around the ride plate insert before installing a new one. I aint telling what I did, but it involved and air chisel & a small stone in my driveway.

At least you were smart enough to check your pissers and noticed the problem before it became worse.

so I would benefit by doing this mod to my stock ski by adding cooling water to the otherwise crappy stock IC? And it can still be used as the IC is upgraded? Seems like a great diy project after collecting all the pieces at ACE.

My next mod is going to the the R&D engine and intercooler cooling kit. $250 is not that bad for not having to piece everything together myself.

    My thoughts exactly.

Just have to be able to work through drilling through the hull four times.

IMO, the price for the new Enigine & IC kit is much more reasonable. When you add up the cost of the thru-hulls, pissers & strainer it adds up to almost $200, not including the hose & other hardware...and you also wouldn't have the exhaust piece that comes in the new kit.

Hopefully, I'll have some time next week to install the rest of the kit & I'll post pics.

    Nice install guide

Very nice install guide I have ordered this myself and was wondering if you could install the second pisser for the intercooler close to the other one on the right side of the watercraft instead of in the back if not is there a reason. Thanks for your help

I did this but would not do it again, almost got stuck in the front of the craft. The only way I would do it again is if I had the fuel tank pulled and went in through the engine bay.

Ok I ordered the kit for 160$ thinking it had all the things the !30$ kit had plus the valve. pisser and tee for the relief but it does not you also need to order the 130$ for the plate, through hull fittings, hoses and other pisser. I just want everyone to know so they are not as shocked as I was thinking I was getting it all for 160$.
