Dude, you got one saweeeet looking ski let alone one bad A$$$$$$$$$$$$$ running one as well!! I think you still got a little more tinkering to do on it, besides that ski would miss your hands that have been all over it for years and many many many hours. Oh yea, Awesome looking seat cover

thans, I'd like to mention too that there are carbon fiber accents on the front and rear that match the GPR display perfect ! Nice touch !

That looks nice man. I wish MLine made them for the XLT's!

I'd be worried about the black getting too hot in the sun and frying my boys

    FYI,
You can still get SST staples from here.

    cheap covering

This is an old thread, but has anyone tried this with a simple staple gun and stainless staples from Home Depot? I have an old Sea Doo GTS and I was planning on just buying a sheet of marine vinyl, removing the old cover because it is very stiff from sun and age, then stapling on the new vinyl and cutting around the free edges inside. If this won't work, it's not worth the money to me to buy all the other stuff, I just want to get rid of the old stiff faded cover. Also, can I add more foam padding underneath? I have seen sheets of padding sold by hydroturf. The old ski gets really ruff in big waves, it does not have thick padding like the new ones.

I would simply try a regular staple in it first to see if it has enough strength to penetrate the plastic. This should answer your question.

yes. older ski's with less shapely and contoured seats can be done like that. I did my polaris that way. you'll get serious arm pump from the manual stapler though
