I insulated my intercooler and plumbing today.
Hope it was worth the effort. It sure can't hurt though
While i was at it i even insulated my Riva power filter tube.

That looks really good,I had only done the tube going from the intercooler to throttle body.It really seemed to help though.I will be pulling the intercooler and doing similiar to yours. Its got to help, keep cool air in hot air out.Makes since to me.At the very least it should extent time before heat soak.

Jerry, I am impreesed you don't cut corners do you? Did you use the 2"x 15' wrap or is that someother type?

damn hulk...you dont screw around do ya...that looks awesome
i didnt wrap my entire intercooler yet, just what was visible, im sure your method would be much more effective
i look forward to hearing how that works out

Its some bubble wrap stuff with the foil out the outside. You can buy the foil tape to wrap it up. Works very well.
I got it at my local hardware store. They cut it off the big roll and sold it to me by the foot. $.75 cents per foot
