NEW Beretta M9A4 Optics Ready Pistol

Beretta has just released their latest version of the famous 92 series, the Beretta M9A4, which comes as an improvement over the M9A3. The primary difference between the A3 to the M9A4 is the addition of factory optics cuts on the top of the pistol’s slide, which was previously only achieved via aftermarket services or products. Beretta’s M9A4 webpage states that there are five different optics mounting plates available, and at the time of this publishing, Beretta stated that M9A4 buyers can get an optics plate for free upon registering their pistol.

DOJ Needs More Time to Process Over 200,000 Comments on Proposed Pistol Brace Regulation

From the Second Amendment Foundation . . .

Nine months after the Second Amendment Foundation sued the Department of Justice and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in federal court over ATF’s flip on how it regulates stabilizing braces on pistols, the DOJ and SAF jointly asked for a continuation of a stay in the legal action to allow processing of more than 211,000 public comments on a proposed rule on “Factoring Criteria for Firearms with Attached Stabilizing Braces.”

The process is expected to require more than four months.

Under the original proposal, guns with stabilizing braces would suddenly be regulated under the National Firearms Act the same as short-barreled rifles.

That would require a special license and $200 fee for each firearm fitted with a brace. Without the special license and fee, guns fitted with the stabilizing braces would be illegal to own.

I've been planning to switch my carry & practice pistols to red dots so I took advantage of the 12% off/free shipping sale at PA this week. I bought one of these earlier in the year & like the ACSS reticle so much that I just ordered three more...including one to go on the FN 502.

Sweet! That dot with the Vulcan ACSS reticle is on my list actually! Botach had 20% for about a month on all dots...not sure if it's still going on or not or if they had the ACSS reticle versions.

Yeah there's a few guys who have got the 502 somehow. Colion Noir and Sage Dynamics got theirs directly from FN because they are huge youtubers but the guy doing the ammo test said he got his at his local shop and I know another youtube channel who has one and is going to be putting out a review video soon and I have no idea how/where he got his. Cabelas and Bass Pro do not have it yet and they are usually one of the firsts to get stuff like this. I emailed Eurooptics.com asking about ship date and they had no idea...FN isn't telling them.

ACSS is proprietary to PA so they're the only game in town. I called my buddy at my neighborhood gun store & he put a 502 on backorder for me with his vendors. Considering the amount of hype we're seeing from the youtubers, I'm guessing we're within a month of them shipping.
