Hey guys I just ordered a PSA AK-P. What’s your thoughts on steel case Tulammo for plinking? Buying brass and hand load isn’t out of the question also.

I put 500 rounds of Tula steel through my SAM7 the last time I shot it. No complaints. In fact, it seemed a bit more accurate than Wolf at 100 yds. No reason to pony up for brass with an AK. Buy it cheap & stack it deep.

Colt Halts Production of Long Guns for the Retail Market

Glad I had a chance to buy a Colt HBAR rifle many years ago. It's the most accurate AR I own with the 20" barrel. Colt was one of the gun makers that made America great! But with the 6.8 phasing in, .556 should start getting even cheaper.

Kind of an interesting gun. Not sure why they would put a competition-style ported barrel on a gun meant to be used as a defensive carry pistol though. Getting a face full of hot gas if you ever have to shoot from retention might not be an optimal experience in a gunfight.

Not to mention all the scuz/lint a ported slide would collect, especially if edc'ed IWB. This one isn't overdone with all kinds of crazy slide cuts at least.

Was a torched parts kit. I built a multipart aluminum jig to hold the stubs, and the repair section to final length. Tigged it up (I am still learning TIG so don't rip me for not stacking dem dimes). It has a blocking bar to prevent a full auto bolt from being inserted. Has a commercial semi bolt and striker setup and a 3d printed buffer block in the back. Top cover has been modded so you can ratchet the bolt open and use it for ranges that require either a chamber insert or bolt being open when the line isn't live. I plan on modding my full auto bolt to semi and have enough parts to build a couple more. Runs like a sewing machine on just about anything I put through it.
