Bren, Don't get pissed at the yanks because our balls are big enough to defend our right to bare arms. My two favorite weapons in my collection are my colts, AR with aimpoint scope and mod70 45acp. Have shot thousand of rounds through them.

Does anybody really know what's in our storage compartments
on a given ride? Insured by Smith & Wesson is not an idle statement
    around this bunch!

Blackwater always calls FasstPhil before any critical mission......

I just got my permit to carry here in CT. Any suggestions for a 9MM? Thinking of a Glock, but open to suggestions!

    I like the Beretta FS

I got the Beretta 92FS. It is the standard issue sidearm of the military and many police forces. About $550, the "police" version comes with two clips which hold 15 rounds each.

A little big, but pretty accurate for a 9mm. Very reliable.

I thought about the Glock, but just don't like their lack of safety's and plasticaly look. The Beretta is very high quality and reliable.

    one web review:
After 5 years of research, the Beretta Series 92 began production in 1976. It was designed specifically to meet the requirements for safety, stability and reliability of both law enforcement and military organizations. The weapon was made from lightweight aircraft aluminum and incorporated an open slide which has become the Beretta trademark. The simplicity of the weapon aided its reliability; field stripping a unit requires breaking it down to only 6 parts.
Testing of the Series 92 by various organizations around the world soon revealed the gun's dominance over the competition and it became the standard sidearm for armed personnel around the globe. The original design was modified and adapted for specific roles over the next 15 years and even now, 30 years later, it is in use and still considered to be the best of breed. The core components of the design have not changed during the Beretta 92's evolution, which is one reason why it continues to be the choice over newer packages.

or is this just to make your dick look big infront of your neighbor?
Nope, it's a sport just like jetskis...sorry that it's illegal to own them in AU, but don't mislabel those who enjoy going to a range or to a shooting match with their guns.

We own them because we can...it's in our second ammendment of the Constitution. Nothing to do with being macho, they are just fun to shoot and collect...just like jetskis.

I have a few and love them!
