Converted bunks??
I recently purchased a pkg. of these trailer bunk slides , but very hesitant to install for fear of marking up my hull ! Has anyone converted their bunks to boat type roller bunk's ? If so how much were they, and do they work for you ?

I gouged the hell out of two ski bottoms using the plastic ribbed slide on bunk covers. I found a spray on stuff called "Liquid Rollers" that drys dry and makes it super easy to slide the boat on and off the trailer carpet bunks. Sold at most marine stores. One spray can can do several trailers.

People are getting away from rollers. I guess too many people dropped there boats/skis on the ground.

I prefer bunks because it distributes the weight of the ski across a larger area and stresses the hull less. With rollers, all the weight is riding on a few specific points.

I have seen boats (not PWC) that had permanent "dents" in the hull bottom from sitting on rollers for extended periods. Granted these were piss poor quality hulls, I wouldn't expect this on a well made boat.
