    Riva F/a adapters, A PITA ?

I wonder why Riva deemed it nescessary to put the big ridge on their adapters? my others don't have one and I don't find my F/A's in the hull ever it makes sliding on the F/A's a pain in the butt! untill they went to the lathe

    i dont know either
i have a set from scittb that i dont know the name brand but they also have those ridges. it mite help the F/As from sliding off if oil or gas gets under neath them. but then again it also depends on what kind of F/A you run i would think.
