Impros stock repitch
What is the average turn around on repitching a stock impeller through Impros ?
I have an rxt with an intake, wedge, free flow, air intake.
Is 12/19.5 recommended ?
I'm planning on doing the IC/through exhaust but am going to wait until next season.

Kinchyle,
You can't go wrong with a re-pitched stocker from Impros. However, a 12/19.5 will probably be a bit much until you install the intercooler (and the exhaust as well). I ran a 12/18.5 prior to installing the IC and free flow exhaust... it reached 69.6 mph @ 8150 rpm. Dave, at Impros, was going to tweek it to a 12/19.0 with the intent of bringing the RPM down to 8100 rpm and a predicted speed of 70 mph. I decided to add the RR IC and PPG exhaust and now have a 12/19.5 and run around 71 mph @ 8100 rpm. As you can see, a 12/19.0 would probably be the limit for your current configuration.
Dave knows his stuff... tell him where you're at, and where you want to go... he'll have the answers.
Oh yeah, turn around is pretty impressive... but then again, I'm in California.
Good luck,
Jeff & Annette

I use Impros and live in Texas. I usually have my prop back in about a week and a half give or take a couple of days. May call and talk to Dave about what you prop needs. You can also download a work order from thier website. Impros.com.

My prop has been there about a month now. Think I will call him tomorrow and tell him to forget it and send it back...

Between the stock and 12/19.5 repitch. I lost 150 rpm but I gained almost 2 mph with the repitch. Now I have the solas. I can sell the impros repitch prop if anyone in interested. I will put a add in the for sale section if anyone is interested. You can always go back to stock if you want to with two props.
