I will be taking it out tomorrow around 9:00 a.m. Air should be around 68 degrees and water will be right at 78 degrees. Only real power enhancements is the original Rude charger, an 8600 rpm RR ECU and a homemade rear air. Everything else is hull work... any predictions?

I'll be posting the results around 10:30.

This has been long in coming... gotta love this sport!

KC... it has been a long time. I actually felt like I let some people down last year, but some things just got in the way of progress. Anyway, I'm off to the launch ramp... be back in a couple hours.

Well, Im quite pleased with the results. All the hull work paid off... not sure I'd go through it again. Water was 77, air was 66-67. I think I can break 86 mph on a cooler, DRYER day... humidity was up a bit for our neck of the woods. Also, isn't the rev limiter 8600 rpm on the RR ECU? I never saw it... could swear I've seen 8600 in past years tuning. I'd see 8550 and then feel what I believed to be the limiter kicking in.

All in all, I'm content... for now!

    Excellent work!!!!

Don't stay on the limiter for long, hard on ring lands. Sometimes you can see 8600 and other times all I get is 8550. Pitch up a couple degrees and knock out an 87!!

Thanks all, it was a kick. Duke, thanks for the tip. I thought I was dialed in at 8550 waiting to see an occasional 8600. Well, I'm out on the water now, and with 26 degrees more air temp, I am still all over 8550. I'll add some pitch tonight and report results in the morning.
