    stickin with the 160mm combo,s for now but stepping things up a tad... found a couple issues that was holdin her back, so should have a fair bit more pace yet..... i,m with you guys ATM with me bullet spread all over the place getting rods, pistons etc,gettin ready to rev this thing up..........

    Well... not much has been happening the past few months, not even riding. One thing though, the mid shaft bearing was leaking where it was sealed to the old cut out mid wall piece, so I've decided to make a whole new piece up, go to a free floating bearing.

    The new design enables me to remove the mid shaft and bearing without having to undo intake grate bolts, or engine mounts to lift engines.

    Here is a picture of why I had rebuild my engine, The Cause was installing a Walbro Fuel pump without a Fuel pump relay. Over time (12 months) the pump slowly failed, holding less and less pressure until it eventually leaned out the engine enough to cause start lifting the side of the piston - the damage you see on the piston.

    WARNING to EVERYONE! install a Fuel pump relay when upgrading Fuel pumps !!

    Wiring Diagram below shows the basics (colors are for an 06 wiring harness)

    New Bigger beefy grate and pump shoe brackets made from Stainless steel and now with M10 bolts... not risking anything here.
