    Its important to clean the area where you will use durafix properly. I put my extension on a vice and heat it up. It takes a while to het it at the right temp, make sure to melt the rod with the heat from the aluminum pump and not from the flame, once it melts use the SS brush and brush it around to prime the surface, this will allow the rest of the melting rod to adhere to it.

    Do you by chance have pressure #s at 80 with your current setup so its possible to see the difference with the new??

    I never had a gauge on my old setup Duke but i have one installed on this setup. Wont be able to compare but i will at least have a number..

    If it helps, mine was hitting 55pounds at 83mph and didn't have a buck. Valves were 3/8" and straight fittings at 10 and 2.

    We seem to be getting away with 80pounds around 100 but lifting the throttle gets scary. Changing the intake ramp of the grate and shoe helps but doesn't cure the problem. Whenever I try to relieve the pressure in a non radial pattern it gives me a lot of vibratrion over 95, more pronounced with the Riva 1200 grate. And yes, the aluminum 1200 Riva grate has been close to 100 without any problems. The R&D is a flaming POS tho.

    Sunday, SUNday, SUNDAY!!! Here it is mounted on the pump... Pressure gauge barb is at 4 oclock and kinda hard to see. Im really anxious to try this one out..
