    I had been using a 2000lbs Harbor Freight furniture mover (with 2x4s bolted to it) for a decade as a winter storage for various skis, but this week I decided to use it and another one a friend gave me after his move, along with a bunch of scrap wood from finishing my basement last winter, to make this. I don't technically have a dime in it, everything was parts I had laying around the house already, including two different color marine carpet for each bunk from other hoist and trailer bunk rebuilds over the years. Plus a ton of 3" and 4.5" screws from the basement work.

    Except for two 8ft 2x4s that I cut down to 5'4" for the carpeted runners, everything else was just scrap I had laying around.

    There were a lot of destroyed fences after hurricane Sally so I got some scrap 4x4’s, some framing stuff from Lowe’s, and some casters on sale at harbor freight. Raided my bag of screws and nails and we have a dolly:
