Has there been any back to back test runs to show this actually makes a difference?

It is really only needed when you bump up the compression.

The Blue Riva free flow is great? no offense to my good friend RX951 but using the PVC is a risk, I would never take on my Ski. use the Blue Riva hose or the Metal tubes available for this mod. PVC has melted in the past and caused skis to sink. http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=17319

I remember that and anything is possible but that meltdown happened because of a malfunctioning Jetworks mod I believe.

The real question is..... is that something you want to take a chance on? I have seen jetworks get clogged with sand at the river, It was on a top tuners ski too, not some noob. He had the metal free flow and it was smoking hot the rubber hoses were at their limit but everything held together and he managed to get home with it. My ski has too much invested in it to take a short cut like this on it.

i fully agree with bill on this, why take a chance with a home mode FF pipe when a blue riva one is penuts..??

the riva install takes about 15 minutes to do, just make sure you put the waterbox end on first and tilt the waterbox slightly over so it all connects up.

Do NOT cut the riva FF pipe to fit.

Also remember if you have a cut head for high comp and other mods on a 1200R ski with a 1200 waterbox the FF is a must to protect from detonation.

You probably lose 50rpm going from sound supression to FF but you wont go sticking piston from deto

I hear ya Bill I hope my exhaust temp without the Jetworks mod won't get hot enough to melt schedule 40 PVC or my rubber tubing. I do understand your reservations.
