Holy Sh** , Advice Needed!!
Did not want to miss the weekend of riding, so i called dealer to set up 10 hr. He says 15 to 20 would be ok , and they cant get me in till tuesday.
So i decide to change my filter @ 9.9 hrs. ! OMGD Look in side the housing
and i almost had a heart attack . Anyones look like this or is my rxp done for ??? And were did the missing metal go??? I thought it was just crud or pooled oil, but upon closer inspection it appears to be cracked off and missing!!! I have had 0 oil consumption or coolant consumption during break in and my oil looks
pretty damn good. I'm really having a cow over here!!!

Are you saying there was no filter in there at all just the crud in the picture. If so that is almost unbelieveable. It is not good to have unfiltered oil especially during breakin.I would make sure dealer saw this and documented it in case it does cause any internal problems.I believe I would change oil again in just a few hours to maybe help clean system.
I've changed my oil twice in My RXT and my oil and filter were clean both times. This is the first time I have seen this.

first time I have seen that!! I would pull your scavenger pump housing and check your screen for debris...Or if it is warrenty ...PLAY DUMB and put the old filter back in and enjoy the weekend...Then on tuesday go in and complain!!

I see what you are saying now, probably just caused by an air pocket in the casting process. As lone as the oil is not bypassing the filter it probably won't hurt anything but I would bring it to the attention of the dealer though.

I wonder if this is a replaceable part, or cast into block?? Anyone have a pic of a normal housing i can compare to ?

Here's a very blurry pic of mine. But I think you can tell mine looks similar to yours. Not sure if that means it's normal, or we both have problems.

Ok i cut my filter up, and checked pleats . What is an acceptable amount of metal?? I prob. could not fill a thimble or a bottle cap with the amount of micrscopic particles i found inside . Looked like glitter and broke into smaller pieces when i put it on my finger and rubbed together!!?? 9.9 hrs.

Those metal shavings are exactly why you do 10 hour maintenance. In the early hours, there will be some wear as parts start to mate with one another. It's normal to see those shavings in the first 10 hours. Just change the oil, filter and spark plugs and you will be fine.
