Riva through the hull exhaust kit install
Got the Riva through the hull exhaust kit. Instaling went pretty smooth until I got to that final clamp in back of hull. Hope everyone had as much fun with that as I did. It was a bitch to get to. I was finally able to slide my air ratchet back there with a 5\16 socket to tighten it after I took the coolant line loose and lost all my antifreeze.

The easiest way is to remove the OPAS blockoff plate and you can reach inside with a socket on an extension.

Don't know why that didn't cross my mind. But that would work, next time I will ask before starting looks like they would put that in the instructions. I cussed that thing so mush I had to go have it blessed.
I took it out today and I really do like the sound and it seems to run better but it was much cooler today than it has been and was cloudy all day so that could have contributed to the running better.

Do you have to have the though exhaust for the intercooler or can you have the powerpipe ?
Is their really any difference sound/performance ?
I have just heard it sounds different.

You have to use the thru hull for Riva's intercooler. You can use the powerpipe, or just a free flow pipe when using the Rotax Racing intercooler.

What is the price difference between the rotax racing (can't find the link for it) and the malvin one you tested.

Malvin's setup is a couple hundred dollars more.

Kinchyle
I would advise getting the thru the hull exhaust kit which ever intercooler you get. The stock exhaust runs right under the intercooler. It really helped mine to get that heat away from the intercooler.
You will really like the sound also.

I'm thinking of doing the thru hull exhaust next..... to prep for the IC.
Does Mike make those ? I have heard of a Mike making them ?
Are they better or the same as Riva's ?
Is there a price difference ?
