SuperCharger Help ?
I have my RXP Supercharger mounted on the holding plate and in the vise. I have all bolts removed but cannot seperate the two halfs. I have tapped all possible places with a hard rubber hammer and no luck. Sould I put a little heat on it? Any other suggestions?

The factory uses a small amount of silicone adhesive on the two halves and sometimes it can be a real PITA to seperate. I think if you heat it up it will be a lot easier to seperate them.

I use a 2 pound rubber mallet and i whack the hell out of the supercharger oulet while holding onto the inlet with the other hand (to keep it from flying off)
It will take several good hard whacks, but it will come off.

If memory serves me, mine had some tabs molded in where you could stick in a nice wide screwdriver or prybar and seperate with ease..

Vman has the best answer, use the tabs and a prybar. It comes apart effortlessly.
