Don't look if you have a weak stomach
This is why you purchase titanium valves from Jerry before this sh*t happens to you.
Now guys, I seriously need a used motor, SERIOUSLY!! If anyone knows anyone with something please let me know. It is ridiculous the prices that they are charging for these parts on their own, I might aswell buy a new ski. Please help a fellow member out.

I had 2 bad valves and they dropped. They just gave out really. I was doing 70+ at around 8000 rpms so the metal just bounced around and chopped everything up. I'm not the first person it has happened to and I won;t be the last, replace your valves guys. This is definately a factory problem.

My opinion is floating valves...Why you say? I've seen Brand new valve springs that (RR) wouldn't hold 75lbs. BRAND NEW,NEVER BEEN USED. Valves rarely break W/O hitting a piston. A titanium valve will break if it touches.

I am upgrading my valve retainers & shimming the springs as my ski is down due to 2 floated valves BUT threy didnt drop just hit the piston lightly and bent. The shims will make more seat pressure thus helping to pull the valve closed and the lightened retainers for less weight = faster return... Just my 2 cents though but I suggest everyone to do this upgrade so ya dont have to take chances. Its like insurance if ya ask me.
These motors are too expensive to risk over a couple hundred bucks of insurance!
