Just GPS'd my 06 RXP, ye ha!!!
We'll the conditions today were lookin pretty good so me and my buddies headed out for a nice ride and so when we got back i thought i would GPS the machine. Here's how it was ,
Water Temp - 80 deg
Air Temp - 85 deg
1/4 tank of fuel
slight ripple to little chop
some mild porposing of and on
RPMS - 8000-8050 that i seen wasnt really paying attention
top speed GPS - 69.2mph
me - 200lbs
10hrs on machine
Mods = none (bone stock)
Now i cant wait to fill ride plate holes and get my stg I
I will say im pretty impressed, im going for 70 maybe tomorrow, if i wouldn't have started porposing i think i will hit 70 or maybe damn close! so what do you guys think is this a good speed for stock!

NeverEndn, great #'s for the water and air temps. Was that the only time you hit 69mph or higher? What speeds were you seeing the most of? Did you record all and get an average?
Also, where is Grossel Michigan? I ride at Higgins Lake, which is just north of Houghton Lake in Roscommon County. Have you been there or heard of it? If you're ever riding there let me know. There's a couple guys on the Yami side that I ride with there.

As for breaking it in i broke it in like how i break in everything i own , drive it like what its made for , not beating on it but not babying it. When i had even 1hr on it i held er wide open at least twice not for very long tho!! I just know how to break in my stuff i dunno its hard to explain, put it this way i was tought how then learned my own way and stuck to that way. I just need to race another RXP now to see the difference, but i dont know usually everything i own beats other peoples stuff who have the same thing not always but mostly, like my RX, i raced 4 other ones and beat them, same with my sled its an 05 REV X 800H.O and i have raced many other ones and seem to beat them , i dont know maybe i just get lucky sometimes but let see how it goes for this year dont want to ginx it!!! As for Grosseel (i think thats how its spelt) its in about half hour from Detroit Michigan, right by Wayne County.
