Cut the exhaust baffle out with a Sawzaw since you are useing the thru hull.

Yes there is a special tool to take it off. I however used a hose clamp around the nut and a pair of channel locks to slowly eventually get it off. Thats if you don't want to go the sawzall route.

Grab it and pull evenly on it. It will slide out.

ok I got everything out!!! Man some of this was more of a pain then I anticipated, but tomarrow I should have it finished up. just gotta silicone everything on. I cut the hole and thank god it was dead on!!
Should I worry about the styrafoam or jsut leave it out, I had to break it in to pieces to get out, 3 big pieces.
hope the riva stage one stuff I have coming isn't a pita like this was!! Cant wait to hear it roar to life though!!
Any tips on siliconing the exhaust block off? opas block offs, and exhaust exit?? I will be sealing them all tomarrow.Last edited by CarFanatic; 07-19-2006 at 10:19 PM.

The only purpose for the styrofoam is to keep your ski from sinking to the bottom of the lake when the hull fills up with water. So if you aren't going to sink your ski, leave it out

man, I hope it doesn't!! I might stick a few pieces back in it for saftey, considering all the new holes there are with the opas block offs, and new exhaust and all..
