Changing wear ring?
Do i need any special seals to do this or do i just purchase the new wear ring??

theres a rubber seal thats between the pump and pump support. most likely you wont need to replace it.

Is it worth putting in the stainless wear ring? if so where would I get one and about how much do they cost

In all honesty (and I don`t use one so,,) I run in a lot of chop. Thats what I look for to ride. Go outside,,hey,,,winds blowing,,time to ride,,weather channel,,Katrinas coming,,,,COOL. I use the delrin ring and will stay with it. Too easy to change using freezer method. Look in technical forum. You won`t believe how easy it is till you do it.

i used to run a ss wear ring and triple bearing mod, never had ne problems with it. however, i think the way to go is rr motor mount and derlin wear rings.

I have 140 hours on the same ss wearring. It's still flawless. I also have 20 hour on the RR motor mount and 25 hour on the Skat triple bearing. Go with the stainless if $ permits and definitely get the front motor mount. The Skat triple bearing is nothing but a nuisance - leaks.
Stay with stock.
Imo naturally.

Just got my mount today,,,man,,they couldn`t spring for paint. Mine is fresh out the blaster. And by the way,,,they need to change the medium.

whats up with that little strainer like hole i see in the middle of my wear ring, how can i slide the ring out with that protruding??
