Results of GTX rebuild by Nils
Since I am still breaking it in, the WOT's were limited but here are the results:
Full tank of gas
Air/Water 80
1st run 73.8 @ 8450/8500
2nd run 74.8 @ 8450/8500
3rd run 75.4 @ 8500 (5 bars of fuel)
4th run 75.2 @ 8500 (5 bars of fuel)
So, for now, looks like a rock solid 75 +++ with a lot of gas....
I might have a boost gauge problem though because I am still pegged at 11 pounds, the exact same before the rebuild. This is not an indication of a leak problem....

So...What were you running before the rebuild?

Jay,
those are promising results but whats up with your boost? Nils didn`t forget to fit your overdrive gears did he. Did you remove your flame arrester in the end? Wondering if you might have a leak there. With those revs you should have 13lbs easy unless Nils has done the best ever valve and port job
.Oh yeah, the sweepstakes not won till your all run in and have found that boost

I wish I knew and have no idea unless the gauge is defective

Yep, I removed that while waiting for the motor

I've checked for leaks but a leak happening at the 11 mark would seem a little odd..

Jay - 4" intake all the way to the mouth of the s/c? BTW - I have never seen 13 lbs. 12.5 consistent @ 8500-8550.

I should be seeing a bare minimum of 12 lbs with my current setup...
