Gas guage not working 95 SPX
hey guys I was reading the sending unit thread about gas guages...could this be why the guage does no work??? I have not been around the ski to analyze yet....is it a common problem with the 90's skis?

Is it recieving power or just not reading what is in the tank? There is a magnet attached to a float that can fall off. If you remove the fuel sending unit and remove the screen at the bottom, (put a towel under it to catch any pieces that might fall out) you will see how it works. If there is a small magnet that falls out just epoxy it back on and reassemble, like I mentioned, you will see how it works, very simple in operation.
