Problems with 2002 Freedom 700
Took out the jetski last saturday and after about 2-3 hours of riding it satrted bogging down big time. If I gunned it it would pull hard for maybe 2-3 seconds and then bog down. Driving it to the dock I got it to run fine for about 2-3 minutes and then it did it again. When i got home I checked the basics. Spark is good, compression in both cylinders is almost 150. If I connect plug wire on the rear cylinder it will fire and runs rough(since its only running on one cylinder). If I connect only the front cylinder I can get it to run for a second by pulling and releasing the throttle over and over, but it dies pretty fast. I figured out that it is the front cylinder, but thats about it. I was thinking maybe the reed valve, but wanted to get your opinions before i tore it apart.
Is there a test i can do to check the reed valves?
