New and improved Rad ride plate...
Here is the new ride plate I'm testing....I'm expecting some good results this weekend.
That intake grad is going no where!!!!!

Well after losing two intake grates....you get the point...I hope it stays in place this time.

WOW!!! Those skegs look familiar. Maybe Jim could offer the same deal for his plates with the grate. I was actually thinking one step further and welding the plate and grate togehter. grind everthing smooth and you would not have the gap or bolt holes as they could all be welded and ground smooth. Should be easy enough to do on one of jims open loop plates. Any reason that would not work?

A one piece design would proably net a speed increase and guarantee the grate wasn't coming off without taking the entire ride plate with it. Probably could re-engineer the front bolts as they wont be as important to hold the grate on, just keep the front of the grate snug with the hull.

And possibly slot the holes to account for hull differences.

that cross-plate welded tp the rideplate looks like the
fizzle to me
