RIVA SD Supercharger Blow-off Valve Kit
Hey
Has anyone had experience with the blow off valve kit from Riva.
It doesnt mention which models its applicable to, it just says SeaDoo
Can this be used on the 09 RXP-X?
also,
Is the installation fairly easy?
any help would be appreciated

Well Most people will prolly tell you do not buy a BOV they leak and they suck and not worth it and If jerry's not using it why should we....So on and So on....Well the fact of the matter is. That The RIVA BOV is not that good....and it does leak especially in big boost situations. If you want to run a BOV and in the RXP-X try looking at this thread
http://greenhulk.net/forums/showthre...&highlight=BOV
And also take a look at this website

Basicly you want to run a good quality fully adjustable BOV with Metal Pipe..RIVA's is just not as good as these.....IMO......

Well this is IMO.....but I would recomend that you do a custom 4" Air intake system...do a search on it you can make it yourself....
Wait for a thru hull exhaust system or make it yourself.....Free flow From riva or R&D is ok but you will want a thru hull later on.
I would for the sake of it install a bilge system. Not performance but saves your butt if something were to go wrong.
Jim's Rideplate is worth more to speed than anything out there.....Also handling....I would save for that one...Its worth it....
Look at R@D Intake grate or Riva which ever floats your boat.....I like the R@D.
Once you start doing these things then take a look at your RPM's and your top speed and then have someone re pitch your prop or buy a prop with that pitch based on RPM's and Speed
You could also look into a Pump Wedge to fix that issue but it wont do all that much......
1st Mods
Bilge
4" AIr
Jim Plate
Thru Hull
Sponsons
Grate
Impeller
Then all the other stuff
If I missed anything chime in guys......
