stator position
Does it matter what position the stator is put back in, I had a problem geting wires rapped without getting pinched.

actually im worried about them getting pinched behind the stator. This is on a 98 polaris slx785 pro

DEFINATELY MATTERS!!! That's what sets your engine timing.
Wires shouldn't be close to being pinched. Do you have a pic?

The individual wires attached to the seperate coils are a little difficult to get rapped behind the stator without pinching them between the stator and here it seats. I know where the right position is, I just wondered if it really mattered, and I kinda figured it would have to go back in same pos.
