allow more air flow
on my stock 1200 (soon not to be, got some goodies on the way) can i cut the stock flame arresitor cover on its sides to allo w some more air through ?

air flow
won't make a difference,just looks cooler,and the ends will curl up

Will also allow the better chance of sucking in any water that might splash around inside the hull. I would leave it as is.
