Carb Rebuild Help
Ok iam getting ready to install new jets, seats and pop off springs in my 650/780 conv carbs and i was wondering if it was just pretty much straight forward (remove old parts and reinstall new ones back)or is there something special ill have to do????

do i need to have some tool to check the pop off??? how cretical is this???

I would totally disassemble the carbs. Spray them down with carb cleaner, and then blow compressed air through ALL passages to be sure you're 100% clean.
Yes, just remove and replace parts.
Yes, you need a pop off gauge for testing. I scored a "ball pump" complete with a low pressure gauge for $10 from Target. It works just fine for 20 psi and less.
Pretty important to be sure you're pop off is good. It can cause tuning nightmares if incorrect.

0-30 but no need to spend that for a one-time use. $10 at Target, I'm serious.

havent found a pump yet but how do i exactly check the pop off psi????
