GTI pump vs. GTX pump
I have an '07 GTI SE 155 and was looking at the pump on a '07 GTX Wake and Std. I noticed the only diffrence in the part numbers is on the Venturi. On mine the OEM part number is 267000289 and the GTX is 267000226. All the other part numbers for the housing, impeller, and steering nozzle are the same.
What are the diffrences in the GTI and GTX venturi?
If I went with the GTX's on mine will it help me on top end or hurt me? Same for the take off.

the GTX has a tapped hole for a pipe thread fitting that supplies water to the OPAS system
the GTI series of craft do not have this setup
that's the only difference... u wont see any gain or loss, they are identical aside from that fitting

Shibby you really know your stuff. And i totally agree with you. Yeah you won't see any performance gains by switching pumps. No reason for the switch unless you damaged your stock on and you got some smokin hot deal on the GTX pump? Then you'll just have to make sure you properly seal that water outlet

That was most likely clearance issues with the valve guide. You have to...
