Help.... again please!! Wont start
OK all.. first of all thanks everyone for all of the help so far..
Today I installed dplate and chip, wave eater clips and cupplers.
Put all back together and it wont even try to start. Lanyard is in and absolutely nothing when I hit start....
Any ideas? Only electrical work was cutting wires on temp sensor and install the heat chip. What am i missing... Seems like a fuse or a ground, but I did not remove any ground wires...
Where is the fuse box on a 2000 XLL ?? Thanks

Sounds like the motor (or pump) is in a bind if it cranks over and stops.
Weird about the blown fuse... they dont just blow unless there is a short or a high amp draw.

OK, well I got it to turn over, the battery was dead and did not have enough amps to start... I never took off the head. All I have left is to get the ride plate off and install pump kit and new intake grate. Getting those screw caps off is a pain in the butt!!! Why would they use those stupid things? I just went out and bought a good set of vice grips so I am going to try to get if off soon.

Yes, the nutserts! They are a huge pain in the butt!! What makes the alternative worth $50 or $60? Cant I just get washers and bolts for the other end of the bolts?? How in the world do I get the nutserts (screw caps) in the very back out???
