I Pulled A Barefoot Skiier
using my RXP over the July 4th holiday. The barefooter, at 200 lbs. used a knee board to get started. He told me when he gave me a nod to give it full throttle. I argued with him that it would be too much power to hold but he said he pulls back boats when digging in. I got him planed off on the board and he had his feet in the water and gave me the nod. I hammered it and yanked the rope out of his hands, but he held on a split second too long, enough to cause him to face dive. He said he never has been pulled like that with any boat. We tried again and I brought him up slightly slower. He footed around the lake and started skiing on one foot when he hit a wave and bit it again. People on shore cheered when they saw a barefooter being pulled by a watercraft. The barefooter said it was great to ski behind because of the small wake. Once he was up I barely felt him pulling. These machines really make some power and do an excellent job of pulling a footer once you get the proper throttle technique mastered.

That is very cool I wish I could have seen it....
I noticed with tubing you need a very long rope...I was towing my daughters this past weekend...Cant hit the throttle too much or they will have a face full of water!! It was kinda funny though...They were laughing..Im just glad I didnt blow them off the tube!

We used a rope 75+ feet long to keep him behind the wake and spray. Also you can get some mean tube whips with a rope this long.

Haven't ever had anyone attempt it behind my ski, that had to be a sight for sure.I did however, see a guy barefoot off of a kneeboard behind a boat I was on several years ago.We had no idea he was gonna do it,we were just watching him,he throws a leg forward, throws the other leg forward, then just stands up..............we were drop-jawed to say the least.Nobody ever barefoots in these parts, much less off of a kneeboard.Takes two things to do that I would imagine, skill and balls, lol.
