engine coolant
I had to bleed (not sure if i did it correctly) the lines for my coolant after the new engine was installed. I have basically a half full coolant bottle. My question is.....
while out on the water and with ski still running I looked at my coolant, the bottle is still half full but i don't notice any coolant in the hoses. Is this normal?

how would u be able to see coolant in the hoses? when the anti-freeze circulates thru the system, you don't really see it leaving and pouring back in.
if it wasn't working, u'd get an overheat alarm pretty quickly.
want to test if ur water pump is working and ur getting coolant flow? put the ski on the flush on the trailer... start it up and let it run. as soon as u get it running, feel the rideplate towards the middle. wait a few minutes then feel it again. it should be noticeably hotter.

Thanks Shibby,
I could see the hoses because i had the ski in reverse just going in a circle and lifted the rear seat off and storage bin.
