Water spots part 2
Thanks to everybody back in the last forum on how to remove water spots
I just wanted to give my 2 cents on this since I finally tried it..
I took white viniger and mixed it with a little water and used a soft rag to wipe it on..took a dry towel and dried it off right away.and low and behold
no more water spots..Ski looks awsume..also worked great on the crome.
After I got done cleaning the spots i took some wax and applied it..
I could not believe how slippery the ski was..Just figured I would share this with everybody I know water spots are a pain in the a$$ especially on these black skis..

ya they definatly are!!! I Was wondering away to get rid of them, but I dont want to have to rewax the ski all the time. I"m sure the vinegar would strip the wax

Thanks for sharing that. I have lots of waterspots on my skis right now. Gonna have to break out with the vinegar and water.

Cant you avoid this by just waxing the ski? I havent had any problems with water spots only if I dont rinse my ski down after I bring it out of the water...Best to bring a towel with you for drying the ski after you bring it out...That should keep the water spots away until you wash it...
Key is get some serious coats of wax on it..

If you don't feel like mixing up vinegar and water.........try Easy Off "Bam" Grime and Lime remover,it works great on those really hard water spots. It took spots off of mine nothing else would.Spray on,wipe off,no muss,no fuss.
