rpm
installed the stage 1 on 06 rxt with greenwheel and thru hull exhaust, opas block offs 14/19R WOW .i luv it, here is the question...... it is definitly faster i am getting 8120,8150,8180 this is okay from what i been reading but my sppedo on the ski is aying the same as when it was stock? going to gps it sunday. any thought on the stock speedo?

glad to see your happy with your new mods. I think you need to add some pitch to the trailering edge of prop which is a good thing as you have some more power to take advantage of to gain more speed. you need your rpms at 8,100 so that you use that extra power you have gained and mostly to not burn up your exhaust system. you can burn up the exhaust by running on the limiter.

I have an 06 RXP and the speedo has read 69mph since the day i baught it. It read that when it was stock, and even now that I am running well over 70mph, it still reads 69mph. I just dont pay it any attention, and read the gps.
ALSO CONGRATS ON THE NEW MODS!!!

thats what i was thinking cuz i know its faster than stock....i also know when it was stock i wasnt doing 69...gr8 number though..lol.

i also did the stock waterbox mod sounds gr8.. next thing is the ic..and catch can and reduction nozzel.

if i add the riva ic would i have to pitch or replace the impeller with a steeper pitch do you know?

I would not thank so, but the only way to know is to test it. My experience is that the ic mod dose not increase top speed as much as it does on low end to mid range. To me the ic mod increase throtle response and power throught out all of rpm range. Some say 3 mph gain with ic mod but i think is more like 1 ot 2 mph. If you have to repitch prop it should work with minor pitch. Others i am sure will chime in with different oppionions.
