1998 1200 flooding - HELP
it started runnin like crap. rebuilt as outlined on here new mikuni kits. 'popoff' is set to 75lbs and hold pressure. will run and idle fine for about 1-2 mins then it starts pouring gas out all 3 venturis and wont stop until shutoff. just a stock machine. my local dealer says its too old for him to work on.

The needles are lifting too far in the seat and sticking open. Make sure the control arm that the spring rest under is not bent upward. All three need to be sitting level with the carb casting.

If it's not flooding on the stand now, you should be good to go. Its not flooding anymore, right?
