S/C rear bolt won't come out
I've been following the instructions to remove the supercharger and now I am stuck on this one last bolt (labeled #1 in the picture)
All the s/c bolts were on really snug and took some initial force to break loose. However when I got to the last one which required 1/4" wrench to get at, it just started stripping rather than turning.
I've tried using a stripped bolt remover, but I can't keep enough force on the socket to get it to come out.
Here's the big question - Can I grind the top off and then remove the bolt from the S/C once it is out of the engine?
Basically I want to know if the engine section (labeled #2) is threaded or not.

No, #2 is not threaded. I have done this exact fix on two '04 skis. Take your time and grind the head off the bolt... slide the SC back and out, then use vise grips and some heat to remove the threaded portion from the SC housing.
