Just bought an RXP,can someone tell me what I need to fix myself?
Hey you guys, i'm new to this site. I was wondering if someone knows how i can be able to fix my own RXP 215,04', instead of giving my money to dealers.
Do i need a computer and software? It's easy for me to get, as long as someone tells me exactly what i need.
Or can i do it manually only?
What do you think?

First of all welcome. As far as software is concerned i dont think you will be able to get your hands on that as you are not a seadoo dealer. But in saying that most of the normal thing that you may have to fix or maintain can be done with the use of a good tool set. And read alot on here it is like a how to on everything seadoo. If some1 hasnt come across it on here it prob wont happen. You will need some specialist tools if you wish to do all of your own work, most of these tools are availible through www.4tecperformance.com aka the online shop. Is there anything wrong with your ski??? If not go ride and have fun, the only thing i will say to get done if it has not already been done is to have metal washers fitted into your supercharger clutch assembly. If you need more info on this there is a thread at the top of the first page that tells you all about why you want to fit these asap!!!! Its called supercharger clutch faliure or sumin. R88

may want to have some gelcote laying around too for when you scratch/chip part of your hull whether from a rough dock or running over something in the water.

Which tools would you actually have to have to change the washers, and maybe the bearings?

I think most do everything they can them selfs me included btu there are some jobs that are best left to the dealers and i really do think you will have trouble getting the right software for our craft i dont think that this will be avalible to buy. But if you know a dealer then maybe you could get hold of it i dont know. If you want to do the sc washers yourself then you are going to need a shaft holding tool can get these from the online store but un less you are going to be swapping washers often i think it would cost you less just to get them done at your dealer. Taking into account the cost of the tool and shipping to greece. Then the fact that the sc needs to set up just right to be relible and for top performance alot of people on here only trust Gerry aka Green Hulk to work on the're sc's. Hope this helps R88
