Sportster SCIC RPM
I'm Currently Running Stock Near Edmonton Alberta. My Wot Rpm Is 7500. Should It Not Run At 8000. My Altitude Is 2200 Ft Above Sea Level. On Mountain Sleds Without Dpm You Adjust The Jetting For The Altitude To Maintain Maximum Rpm. Any Suggestions?
Thanks

Ask your local dealer to call sea doo tech support and ask if they have a "high altitude" prop avail for your boat. If they don't have your prop de-pitched prob 1 to 2 degrees to gain the rpms you need, if they are avail within the rev limits on the boat. remember you don't want to be right at the revlimiter but about 200-300 rpms below on that style boat should work well.

Sportster one degree in pitch on the boats is 300 rpm's. What I've seen is you may want go just a little more R's above the red line when you have a light load and few passengers. That way when you’re full of fuel and loaded you'll be at the Redline or just about there.
Been there done that got the T shirt......
