Welcome to the Hulk!
PDF Octane manual is not available here (yet).
Polaris printed manual is available.

Unless the Octane is different from all other Polaris PWC, there is only one coupler, mounted on the PTO end of the crank shaft.
Edit: And it IS completely different...
The splined drive shaft fits into the coupler, and the other end also has splines, where it drives the impeller.
You will need to remove the jet pump, should be fairly easy. I think the Octane jet pump differs from the standard 148mm modular jet pump used on every 1994-2004 Polaris PWC.
You can download the Service Manual for a larger Polaris (say 2002), which should give you a good idea.Last edited by K447; 06-10-2008 at 01:11 PM.
