Drag race tips fpr RXP X pls???/
hi guys.
when racing against another ski in a drag ,i find that the RXP X jumps out the water when u slam the throttle from stand still.in fact i was racing an SHO with my dealers demo and from stand still the SHO pulled away cause the RXP X jumped out the water.the trim was set to middle.is there any tips that you guys can share wud me to ensure the ski takes off in da water and not out of the water.

i know the ski is race ready but im not

trim fully down, you can drop the handle bars as well if you want

up to you , experiment most people find 1 notch above half way some higher ,depends also on water conditions if its rough keep it down

Also when you first take off get your wieght up over the front of the bars. If you look at the way racers and motox riders take off, they have they're wieght forward to keep the nose down. This will help you to keep hooked up and not jump up out of the water. Then as you get going you want to get ur wieght back over the rear of the ski. practice what metod works best for you and remember water conditions can make more difference than some may think. R88

I AGREE WITH YOU R88ory
I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU .... THATS WHAT I DO EVERY TIME WITH THE TRIM ONE OR TWO POINT UNDER MID AND MY WIEGHT OVER THE STEERING BAR THEN WHEN THE SKI GO FAST ENUGH I GO BACK ON THE NORMAL STTING AND TRIM UP TO MID OR ONE POINT UPWARD. SO THE BODY OF THE SKI HAVE LESS WATER DRAG TO IT IT DEPENS ON THE WATER CONDETION.

dont slamm the throttle all the way. press it fast and hard but not all the way.

Dont forget to set your preset trim locations (hit twice up or twice down on vts). After playing around with mine, i found that about 1sec into take off, double tap up and it transitions great.
