Impellar damage...
I slid under my ski today to inspect my wear ring (which is gouged and trashed by the way), and I noticed my impellar looked like someone thought the ski was a tree shredder. The blade has some dull spots and knicks missing on the leading edge only.
I know I should replace with the $25 SBT reman ones, but anyone have one laying around or know a better place to get one?
Also... can i remove the pellar without the special tool? I have alot of cool shiz in my Volvo shop, but I dont want to fight it if I dont need to.

You can have yours repaired at Impros, or buy a Solas XO from them. If you get the works he welds the outer diameter and edges back to new specs, applies a brush finish, checks and corrects for proper pitch, then balances.

Prop tools are normally $10, and come with a new impeller. You do need one.

Yea I saw the tool from SBT for $11 but it comes with a new blade!?
Ill look into buying one from SBT since it is cheap and seems easy enough. They give me a 2 week window to mail my old one back fo a core.

I'll sell you an used XO(good shape), R&D nozzles(85/8
, pump wedge and vts trim ring for $350 + shipping. That should help you get your ski up to 60 mph. The XO has a very small inperfection that I can send pictures.
A few of the guys here will vouch for me. I was getting ready to clean out my basement. I also have a new VTS gauge and speedometer. I planned on putting a ton of stuff on Ebay on the weekend if I got time.

Sounds great but I dont have cash on hand right now... busy fixing everything else wrong with the other ski. Had to order a new flywheel/stator and magneto with my new engine.
